Ode To A Mode

Ode to a mode
Oh most frequent occurring number
We love you so
Is mode the man?
Oh No!
It is the most frequent occurring number
And we love it so!

Ode to a mean
Oh the sum of values over the number of values
We love you so
Is mean the mode?
Oh No!
It is the sum of values over the number of values
And we love it so!

Ode to a median
Oh the middle value after all values are put in order of size
We love you so
Is median the range?
Oh No!
It is the middle value after all values are put in order of size
And we love it so!

Ode to a range
Oh the difference between the largest and smallest values
We love you so
Is range the median?
Oh No!
It is the difference between the largest and smallest values
And we love you so!

Ode to the mode
Ode to the mean
Ode to the median
Ode to the range
We love them so!

And let us
Dress them in small bow ties
And name them

Well, in maths we were asked to get into groups of three and design a poster about maths to put on the wall for open morning. I went with Chazzo and Zazzo...and....well...we went a bit nuts...Chazzo drew a walking man with a hat to resemble JOURNEY, Zazzo drew a clock to resemble TIME and a school for....some reason....and I wrote a poem called "Ode To A Mode" we put it all onto our nutty poster (speaking of nuts go look at [link]) desiding it looked blank I drew a penguin and as did Chazzo and Zazoo a HUGE smiley face...however these had NOTHING to do with maths so we gave the little sppech bubbles saying "We are penguins and we love maths" or just "we love maths" kinda upside down cause I was looking at the poster unside down anyway...I have to go to snoozeville now so fairwell!!!! Anymore info I'll put as a comment!!!

I'm looking out for my star girl
Now, this is positively HILARIOUS.
You actually made me laugh at maths. Usually I vomit. Or simply bang my head on some big number.
And Frederik is SUCH a groovy name.

[ -. Chasing butterflies, we run down the tracks . Killing time, 'till the clocks turn back . Trashy couture and lipstick lies . We're the broken kids, the ones who threw away their lives .-]
It's especially good since all I do in maths is either help Priya, copy Priya or reject sexual approaches from Alisha.

Coconuts kill more people in the world than sharks do. Approximately 150 people are killed each year by coconuts.
